Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Buckeye Dumpster Rentals. By renting a dumpster from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

1. Rental Period

The standard rental period is 7 days from the date of delivery. Extended rental periods may be arranged for an additional daily fee. Please contact us if you need to extend your rental.

2. Permitted Materials

Our dumpsters are intended for general construction debris, household junk, yard waste, and renovation materials. The following items are NOT permitted:

Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, oil, solvents, asbestos)
Flammable or explosive materials
Batteries and electronics (e-waste)
Tires
Appliances containing Freon (refrigerators, air conditioners)
Medical waste
Food waste

Disposal of prohibited materials may result in additional fees and/or removal of materials at the customer’s expense.

3. Weight Limits

Each dumpster has a maximum weight capacity. Exceeding the weight limit will result in additional charges. Please ask about weight limits for your specific dumpster size when ordering.

4. Fill Level

Materials must not extend above the top of the dumpster. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported and may result in additional fees or require the removal of excess materials before pickup.

5. Dumpster Placement Notice

Our dumpsters are heavy and may cause damage to driveways, pavement, or other surfaces where dumpsters are placed. While we take care during delivery and pickup, Buckeye Dumpster Rentals is not responsible for any surface damage that may occur.

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

Ensure the placement area is suitable and can support the weight of a loaded dumpster
Obtain any necessary permits for street or public placement
Provide clear access for delivery and pickup (minimum 10 feet of vertical clearance)

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

Keep the dumpster accessible for pickup
Not move the dumpster once placed
Not overload or overfill the dumpster
Not place prohibited items in the dumpster
Notify us of any issues or changes to the scheduled pickup

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified during checkout. Additional charges (overweight, extended rental, prohibited items) will be billed separately.

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.

9. Liability

Buckeye Dumpster Rentals is not liable for any damage to property caused by the placement, use, or removal of the dumpster, including but not limited to damage to driveways, lawns, landscaping, or underground utilities. The customer assumes all responsibility for ensuring the placement area is appropriate.

10. Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Buckeye Dumpster Rentals, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the customer’s use of the dumpster or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.
